The Zen of Success – Confidence

Posted by on Feb 26, 2013 in The Zen Of Success

The Successful stand on the confidence they have been able to build over time, and as confident people they tend to have an attraction charisma that generates followings, and when you possess total confidence you are more than willing to take risks, although it might not be as great a risk to you. The strong confidence exhibited by the Successful provides the rocket fuel to propel them forward into the future along with their teams.

The major problem that quickly becomes obvious is that most people don’t cultivate their confidence, and when they seemingly have confidence that just randomly lands on them when the market conditions are favorable, and that pseudo-confidence is easily crushed by the bad times along with any weak risk-taking point of view they might have had.

You need to understand the secret to an unbreakable confidence is the cultivation of a lifestyle of emotional and mental diet and exercise. Start with understanding negative information you hear should be kept in place in your mind where it can’t unduly influence your decision making process, and focus on studies about the future and you and your business improvement, and prepare to emerge as a solution provider instead of joining the numerous Chicken Little’s in the market.

One of the things that holds many back from pursuing their dreams for many years is the fear of failure … and the lack of self-confidence needed to overcome that presence of fear that lingers in the background waiting to rise to the surface of consciousness.

I think the fear of failure is something each one of us must face to some degree, and the obvious key question is “how do you overcome that fear?”

The answer is by working on your self-confidence and self-esteem, and without really thinking of it in those terms, that’s what the Successful do over the years, and that’s what helps many finally overcome their fears, and finally pursue their dreams.

The fears stay with us, undoubtedly. But the Successful know that they can beat them, and that they can consistently break through that wall of fear and come out on the other side. I’ve done it many times now, and that success is rocket fuel for further success.

You must understand and come to terms with the fact that it’s near impossible to make time for your dreams, to break free from the traditional molds we conform to, and truly be yourself, if you have low self-esteem and self-confidence.

If you are low in self-confidence, it is possible to do things that will change that, your self-confidence is in your control, and while it may not seem so, if you are low in self-confidence, I strongly believe that you can do things to increase your self-confidence. It is not genetic, and you do not have to be reliant on others to increase your self-confidence, and if you believe that you are not very competent, not very smart, not very attractive, trust me when I say that can be changed.
