The Zen of Success – Let Passion Be Your Secret Weapon

Posted by on Jan 24, 2013 in The Zen Of Success

You must develop the understanding that focus alone might not be enough to make you successful, because although focus is important, without passion, the path you’ve taken that is more difficult or longer than you anticipated can become overwhelming.

That’s where your passion comes in and can provide you the strength and resolve needed to keep you from quitting when you feel like there’s no end in sight. Passion can give you the driving force and motivation to help you enjoy the road you’ve chosen to your destination, enough that you don’t have to only rely on your focus to drive you, as focus alone might get you there if the journey is short and the end in sight.

Strong passion also provides you that extra energy that becomes evident through in your enthusiasm, passion will make you stand out as someone who really loves what they’re doing, and not just someone who is only doing it for the money, and that passionate enthusiasm combined with the drive to go the distance is what actually makes passion your secret weapon, as passion and focus when combined can dramatically boost your entrepreneurial endeavors, an excellent strategy that has worked for several thousands of years.

strongAnswering the Age-old Question/strong
So, we come back to the question men have pondered and have been seeking the answer to since the beginning of man, and that is “Which is better overall, being good at a lot of different things, or being really great at just one thing?”

When you think about it, it isn’t a matter of which one is better, because a full life will probably involve doing both in different ways and learning which is best for your success and happiness. What’s ultimately most important, is that you’re happy and living the life you desire, yet when it comes to being successful at work or owning and operating your own business successfully however, it’s hard to deny the real power of being focused on something you’re passionate about.

Finally, what do you think? Is it possible for you to be successful at your career without passion and focus? In your life and with what you know, would you rather be good at a lot of things, or really great at one thing?
